Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting the operational morale of non-commissioned police officers in Buriram police station, Buriram Province in 3 aspects individual, environment, and operational support. The samples were all 192 non-commissioned police officers. The research instrument used for collecting the data was a 3-part questionnaire, including check list, 5-rating scale, and open-ended form with its reliability at 9153. The statistics used for analyzing the collected data were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The findings were as follows:
1. The factors affecting the operational morale of non-commissioned police officers in Buriram police station, Buriram Province both as a whole and at each aspect were at "high" levels. The rankins from the highest to the lowest mean scores were the individual, environment and operational support, respectively
2. The additional opinions and suggestions with the highest percentages were that the superiors should be fair to the subordinators equally, and listen to the opinions and suggestions from them, followed by the modern instruments should be supported for operation.
