Abstract:
The purpose of this experimental research was to construct the Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) for Statistic and Research on "Sampling Technique". The experiment was done in two parts. The first part contained testing the efficiency of the lessons based on the criterion 80/80, and determining the students' learning achievement gaining from studying this CAI, and assessing the attitude towards this CAI . The experiments were applied to 30 graduated students in school of Industrial Education, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. The second part contained the comparison of effective and knowledge retention. The experiments were applied to two separated groups of 12 students. The first group studied with CAI as experimental group and the second group studied in the class as controlled group. The result of this research could be concluded that the Computer Assisted Instruction for Statistic and Research, on "Sampling Technique" had efficiency 81.67/80.83 above 80/80 criterion. The students' learning achievement was higher at significant level .05 and the students had good attitude towards studying Statistic and Research on "Sampling Technique". There was a bit difference in comparison of effective in lessons between experimental group and controlled group at significant level .05 and the students' in experiment group had the knowledge retention which indicated that the CAI can be used as a tutorial lesson instead of a teacher.
