Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study roles of school administrators at Buriram Primary Educational Service Area office 2 for promoting preparation for entering ASEAN community, classified by their experiences and school sizes. The sample consisted of 335 teachers selected by stratified sampling. The instrument used in this study was 5 rating scale questionnaires with the reliability of .994. The statistics used to analyze the collected data were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The hypotheses were tested by using t-test and F-test. Having found the significant differences, the paired differences were tested by using a Scheffes method with the statistical significance set at .05 level. The findings were as follows:
1. The samples opinions about the roles of school administrators at Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 for promoting preparation for entering ASEAN community were overall found at a high level. Having considered each aspect, it showed that all aspects were also found at a high level. Moreover teachers quality was ranked first and was followed by instructional management, administrators quality and students quality respectively.
2. Having compared the sample opinions about the roles of school administrators with different experiences, it showed that their opinions were different at the statistical significance of .01 level in overall and each aspect. Having considered each aspect, it showed that all aspects were also significantly different at the statistical level of .01.
3. Having compared the sample opinions about the roles of school administrators at different school sizes, it showed that their opinions were different at the statistical significance of .01 level in overall and each aspect. Having considered each aspect, it showed that all aspects were also significantly different at the statistical level of .01 while the aspect of administrators quality was significantly different at the statistical level of .05.
