Abstract:
This basic research studies of Kinematics and Dynamics about characteristics of a novcl conveying systcm. Thcrc arc four parts of this rcscarch namcly Configuration structure, Kinematics using a conccpt of instantaneous center of rotation (IC), Dynamics and Collision avoidance of many parcels in working area.The new planar conveying system uscs array of actuators similar to array of living cells. This system has uscd in electronic industry, all parts mostly are very small and low weight such as seiniconductor pieces could be inanipulatcd to their positions on VLSI plates at the same tiinc becausc of flcxibility of thc ncw convcying systcm. Wc can takc this advantage to iinprovc a performance of many conveying systems such as raw part manipulation in FMS or parcel transportation in airports. A conventional conveying system (Belt conveyors, AGV and robot manipulators) has less flexibility for multi path manipulation and difficulty for working space enlargement or decrement.
