Abstract:
This thesis represents the dry processing that is to suppress some water of product which is used in agricultural industry for the purpose of transmutation and controlling quality of product. For this thesis, the microwave oven is used as a dryer because the microwave oven can spread the wave to any directions. It also uses a shorter period of time for drying and it yields a better product. Typically, the humidity of the product can be determined by measuring the weight of the product before and after the drying process. This thesis proposes moisture measurement module in microwave oven for agricultural industry which improved the routine of dry processing. The moisture measurement was installed in 19 liter microwave oven to measure the humidity of products which are banana, orchid, ginger, galingale, etc. The module measures the moisture in the microwave oven which depends on the quantity of stream from the drying process. The quantity of stream in the amount of the water reduced from the product is corresponding to the quantity of stream as measured in the oven. In addition, we installed load cell for checked weight of product which is advantageously to calculate the mass of water that is evaporated from the product at any time in the drying process without removing it from the oven.
