Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to analyze and to describe majorfactors that affected diploma students acceptance towardscomputer assisted instruction at Rajamangala Institutes ofTechnology. The sampling groups chosen for this study were 1,186from 12,613 students of Rajamangala Institutes of Technology. An instrument used for collecting data was a 7-rating scale.Reliability of the instrument calculated by Cronbach AlphaCoefficient was at 0.975. The data analyzed by using means (X),Standard Deviation (S.D.) and Analysis of Factors by PrincipalComponent Analysis technique: PCA, orthogonal rotation axis byVarimax Method. The results of the study were as follows:There were 12 major factors affected the diploma studentsacceptance towards computer assisted instruction at RajamangalaInstitutes of Technology as follows: 1) Administering andManaging Computer, 2) Tools Application, 3) InstructionalSystem Design, 4) Self Assessment, 5) Course Development, 6)Personal Mastery, 7) Self-Learning, 8) Virtual Learning, 9)Hyperlink with Multimedia, 10) Personal Status of Students, 11)Self- Learning Package, 12) Supporting from Others. Thesefactors could be explained total variance of 56.437 %. A study ofCorrelation Coefficient between 12 and 90 factors was at 0.401 0.814 and the Correlation Coefficient between 12 factors whichaffected the diploma students acceptance towards computerassisted instruction at Rajamangala Institute of Technology was at0.448 - 0.809 showing a high level. The Correlation Coefficientwithin the 12 internal factors was at 0.001 0.087 showing a lowlevel. The regression or predicting equation that affected thediploma students acceptance towards computer assistedinstruction at Rajamangala Institutes of Technology was:Y=0.580(Administering_And_Managing_Computer) + 0.555(Tools_Application) + 0.488 (Indtructional_System_Design) + 0.613 (Self -_Assessment) + 0.585 (Course_Development t)+ 0.809 (Personal_Mastery)+0.532 (Self-_Learning) + 0.749(Vitual_Learning)+ 0.448 (Hyperlink_With_Multimedia) + ).702 (personal_Statusof_Students)+ 0.512(Self_:earmomg {aclage) + 0.753 (Supporting_ From_Others)The predicting equation had the power of prediction at 50.00 % and the error of predictingwas at 8.333
