The Study Of The Readiness Of Rajamangala University Of Technology Krungthep Undergraduate Students In E-Learning Case Study: Faculty Of Technical Education Electricity Authority
Abstract:
The purposes of this research on the readiness of Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep Undergraduate Students in e-Learning Case study: Faculty of Technical Education were to study the students readiness in e-Learning and to compare the students readiness in faculty of technical Education.
The populations were 617 students who registered in semester 2 academic year 2009. The questionnaires were used too. There were 575 completely questionnaires form 617 questionnaires which was 93.19%
The data analyzes were used percentage average score, standard deviation. The F-test (ANOVA) and Scheffes used for analyze the multiple comparison.
The results were:
1. The most of students were 88.75% of male, 31.48% who study in the 1st year, 29.22% was industrial technology student, 30.26% of students spend average monthly expense 3,001 4,000 baht, and 58.96% used internet less than 5 hours/week.
2. The average students readiness was in high level (x ̅ = 3.86) while the instructors opinion was in moderate level (x ̅ = 3.13). All 6 aspects of students readiness was also in high level.
3. There are 7 divisions in Faculty of Technical Education. All students of 6 divisions were high level of readiness except student of metal technology division was in moderate level.
4. There was a statistical significance difference between students readiness among division in Faculty of Technical Education.
5. The most students readiness was the 1st year student (x ̅ = 3.97) and the least was 3rd year student. All students opinion revealed that most highly on accessibility and technology skill which opposite in aspect of sound skill was least.
6. There was a statistical significance difference between 1st year student and 3rd year student at ∝ = .05. And a statistical significance difference between 1st year student and 4th year student at ∝ = .05.
