Abstract:
The objective of this research were 1) to study participation of farmers using irrigation water in Namkam river basin development project, the Royal Initiative Project and 2) to compare the participation of farmers using irrigation water on a personal factor. Total of 229 farmers using irrigation were served as respondents of the study. The research instrument was questionnaire which the completed data were analyzed and presented through frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation T-test and F-test. The results showed that: 1) Farmer participation at the moderate level The highest participation of farmers was in Implementation, decision making, benefits at the moderate level, the evaluation at the low level. 2) Comparison of farmers participation by sex, age and education showed that participation had no significantly different but the utilization of water had significantly different participation in implementation at 0.05 level.
