Abstract:
The objective of the Thesis is to compare the Electrical Energy using for The Split Type Air Conditioning #4 and #5 in hot and humid climatic condition of Thailand. The study puts emphasis on rate of energy using and humidity in both air-conditioned room. This experimental must test Air Conditioning #4 and #5 in Calorimeter Room to find an energy efficiency ratio before installed its in the room at Nakornpatom Technical College. After the Air Conditioning #4 and #5 was installed the electrical energy, humidity and temperature was measured. The experimental controlled temperature in the air-conditioned room was set at 24 oC, and then test its for 30 days ( 8 hours for a day) The result of this thesis show that the humidity in an air air-conditioned room #5 less than the air-conditioned room #4 due to the evaporator temperature of Air Conditioning #5 lower than evaporator temperature of Air Conditioning #4. Thus the air flow passed the evaporator of Air Conditioning #5 can be condensed more than Air Conditioning #4. From tested the average value of the relative humidity in an air air-conditioned room #5 and #4 is 46.3 %RH and 52.93 %RH respectively. Finally, The electrical energy using of Air Conditioning #5 and #4 is 222.61 kWh/month and 246.65 kWh/month. From the experimental studied, it was found that Air Conditioning #5 save cost of 10.8 % less than Air Conditioning #4.
