Marketing mix factors influence the decision of the member in receiving Islamic Cooperative Service : A Case Study of Assiddeek Islamic Cooperatives Ltd.
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to 1) to find the relationship between marketing mix and the decision of the member in receiving the service of Assiddeek Islamic Cooperative Ltd., 2) to forecast the factors influencing the decision in receiving the cooperative member services, and 3) to study the problems and suggestions of cooperative members. There were 400 members of the Islamic cooperative in Songkhla participated in this study. The data collection tool was questionnaire. The data was analyzed by statistical SPSS for window. Frequency, standard deviation (SD), means (MEAN) were employed.
The results were as follows:
1) The relationship between the marketing mix factors and the decision making in receiving the services of cooperative members, the study of marketing mix factors influencing the decision making of the services of the members of the Islamic Cooperative Ltd, according to the hypothesis, the marketing mix factor 7'ps was a significant correlation between the decision making of the members who received the services. The results of the hypothesis test were personality influencing the decision making on the services of cooperative members and the purpose/rationale for cooperative service decision making was correlation which is statistically significant at 0.05 and 0.001.
2) The forecast of the factors for marketing mix factors decision making in receiving the services of cooperative members were that the product meet the demand of convenience, the acceptable fees, special promotion, good service, modern service, good atmosphere, and religious service locations have influenced the decision of cooperative members in receiving the service of Islamic Cooperatives Ltd. The analysis of multiple regressions and the formation of predictive equations showed that the R Square valued the confidence level of 73.30%.
3) In case of the information of problems and suggestions of the members of the cooperative service, the problems of cooperative service revealed that some members do not understand the quality of service and data accuracy correctly. The service staffs need to improve service gesture by smiling, greeting, and friendly to the customers. Also, the members proposed to support the cash dispenser and increasing mobility of car dispenser to receive and deposit. The empathy and reduce discrimination have to be concerned. Some staff should be trained professionally. The credit approval should not be complicated. The process should be convenience. The organization should be well organized. The patron-client system must be rejected for the advancement of the cooperative.
