The relationship between the quality of working life and organizational commitment of employees in the Bang Pa-In industrial estate Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the level of the quality of working life of the employees in the Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. 2) to study the level of organizational commitment of the employees in the Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. 3) to examine the relationships between the quality of working life and organizational commitment of employees in the Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The population of this research were employees in the Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province 60,315 people. From the open square of the sample Krejcie & Morgan at the error level of .05 has 382 people, and to compensate for the integrity of data 420 derived by multistage sampling. The data was collected using a questionnaire with the reliability level of 0.96. The statistical frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The research results were as follows.
1. The quality of working life of employees in the Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province Overall level ( = 3.64, S.D. = 0.80).
2. The level of organizational commitment of the employees in the Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province Overall level ( = 3.60, S.D. = 0.84).
3. Factors related to the organizational commitment of the employees in the Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province has The Social Relevance of the Work Life, Future Opportunity for Continued Growth and Security, Adequate and fair compensation, Small companies, and Age of employees. The five variables together explain the variation of the organizational commitment equal 48.80 percent.
