Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study and compare transformational leadership of private school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The comparison was conducted on the basis of sizes of schools and work experiences of the administrators. The sample used in the study was 200 school administrators selected by the stratified random sampling method according to the size of schools. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test for IndependentThe research findings were as follows:1. The transformational leadership of private school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, overall and individual aspects, was at high level. The highest mean was individualized consideration, followed by inspirational motivation. The lowest mean was intellectual stimulation.2. The comparative analysis on the opinions of schools administrators who worked in schools classified by 2 sizes of schools (small and medium-large) were overall and individually found significantly different at the .05 level. For small schools, transformational leadership of administrators with different work experiences, were overall and individually significantly different at the .05 level. The administrators with more than 10 years work experience had higher transformational leadership than those who had less than 10 years work experience.
