Abstract:
This thesis aimed intended to study public participation in Sai Mai district, Bangkok, and compare their participation according to their personal factors. Samples included 384 from 199,394 people in Sai Mai district by convenient sampling. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, average, Standard Deviation, t-test, and ANOVA.
The study results revealed that
1. The people in Sai Mai district had participated in the Sai Mai district at a moderate level. Considering each aspect found 1 aspect was at a high level: benefit receiving; 2 aspects were at moderate level: decision-making aspect and operation aspect; and 1 aspect was at the least level: the evaluation aspect.
2. Gender, age, education level, occupation, income per month, and working experience had no influence on their participation at .05 level of significance.
