Abstract:
The purposes of this study were (1) development of problem solving learning unit on the topic of decimal through Mind Mapping of Prathomsuksa 6 students according to the determined efficiency of 75/75, (2) To compare before and after learning achievement in problem solving unit on the topic of decimal of Prathomsuksa 6 students through Mind Mapping (3) to study the satisfaction of Prathomsuksa 6 students towards learning in problem solving unit on the topic of decimal through Mind Mapping. The samples were 41 Prathomsuksa 6 students of Chum Chon Municipality 3 (Phinit Phithaya Nu Son) under Muang Nakhon Phanom Municipality academic year 2015 selected by Cluster Random Sampling. The instruments used in this study were 10 learning management plans, learning achievement tests which difficulty value between 0.69-0.98, discrimination power between 0.26-0.98, the reliability value for total issue as 0.92 and the Satisfaction Questionnaire which discrimination power between .47 - .83 , the reliability for total issue as 0.94. The statistics employed in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation
The results were as follows : (1) The effectiveness of learning in problem solving unit on the topic of decimal of Prathomsuksa 6 students through Mind Mapping was 77.37/76.67 considered as higher than the determined effectiveness. (2) The results Indicated that mean scores for posttest were higher than those for pretest with statistically significance differences at .05 level. (3) The Prathomsuksa 6 students of Chum Chon Municipality 3 (Phinit Phithaya Nu Son) in academic year 2015 had the satisfaction towards learning in problem solving unit on the topic of decimal through Mind Mapping was at the highest level which showed the average of 4.60
