Developing of Computer Instruction Program Entitled Color of Objects on Scientific Learning Group for Mathayomsuksa IV Student at Assumption Convent School
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to 1) develop a computer assisted instruction program
entitled Color of Objects on scientific learning group for Mathayomsuksa IV student; the basic
requirement of the program is 80/80, and 2) compare the result of teaching by the computer assisted
instruction program with the conventional method. The research sample were 44 Mathayomsuksa IV
Student who were studying in the second semester, 2010 academic year at Assumption Convent school,
Khwaeng Bang Rak, Khet Bang Rak, Bangkok. The research instruments consist of computer
assisted instruction program, and pretest and the achievement test. The collected data were statistically analyzed
by percentage, mean score, standard deviation, and t-test.
The findings revealed as follows:
1. The computer assisted instruction program entitled Color of Objects was 81.50/80.50 which established criteria of 80/80 as already hypothesized.
2. The difference between the experimental group and the conventional group was significant at .01 level.
The resulted also indicated that the computer assisted instruction program could be used
effectively for teaching and learning.
