Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to investigate influential factors on teaching phonics of primary English teacher in Phayao Primary Education Service Area Office 1. The factors included three aspects: teachers, students and teaching supports. The populations of this study were 28 of primary English teachers (Prathom 1 Prathom 6) from 4 districts in Phayao Primary Education Service Area Office 1: Mueang District, Phukamyao District, Dokkhamtai District, and Maechai District. The instrument used for collecting data were questionnaires. The datas were statistically analyzed using mean score and standard deviation.
The results showed that in teaching phonics, the most influential factors was the teachers with the mean score of 4.47. The second most influential factors was students with the mean score of 3.56. The lowest influential factors was teaching supports with the mean score of 3.73.
