Abstract:
The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to synthesize a model of an Online Project-based Learning with Knowledge Managements System based on Students Multiple Intelligence as analyzed by experts, 2) to evaluate the appropriateness of the synthesized model, 3) to analyze the students Multiple Intelligence by using Decision Tree Rules, 4) to develop an online Project-based Learning system with Knowledge Management System by analyzing of students Multiple Intelligence under the synthesized model, 5) to validate the efficiency of the developed learning system, 6) to find the learning achievement before and after learning with the developed learning system, and 7) to evaluate students satisfaction from model-based activities with Knowledge Managements System based on students Multiple Intelligence. The research methodology consisted of five steps as follows: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The samples of this study consisted of 2 groups as follows: Group I were experts as, 1) 10 computer and learning system experts for synthesizing the model using focus group method, 2) 3 computer and learning system experts for finding the congruence of the appropriateness evaluation form, 3) 5 computer and learning system experts for evaluating the appropriateness off the synthesized model, 4) 3 learning system experts for finding the congruence of pre-test, post-test, and project evaluation form, 5) 3 computer and learning system experts for finding the congruence of content quality, system quality, and student satisfaction form, 6) 5 computer and learning system experts for evaluating content quality and system quality, and 7) 10 computer and learning system experts for evaluating the online students project. Group II were students as, 1) 905 computer science students in the academic year of 2011 of Nakorn Pathom Rajabhat University for analyzing Gardners Multiple Intelligence, 2) 431 computer science students in the academic year of 2013 of Nakorn Pathom Rajabhat University for analyzing Gardners Multiple Intelligence using decision tree classification rules, 3) 30 fourth-year of computer science students in the academic year of 2014 of Nakorn Pathom Rajabhat University for implementing the developed system, and 4) 60 fourth-year of computer science students in the academic year of 2014 of Nakorn Pathom Rajabhat University for evaluation the developed system. The results were summarized as follows: 1) the synthesized model is composed of six modules as, Multiple Intelligence Testing Module, Multiple Intelligence Classification Module, PjBL & KM Module, Online Learning Module, Teacher and Examiner Module, and Rubric Evaluation Module, 2) the results of model evaluation revealed that at highest level (X¯= 4.64, SD = 0.48), 3) the results of students multiple intelligence using decision tree classification rules by WEKA software with J48 algorithm and evaluated with 10 fold cross validation with 431 data set. The results revealed that the model has high classification performance as measured by a correctness rate of 85.90%, an accuracy rate of 86.03%, a recall rate of 85.56%, an F-Measure of 85.80%, 4) the quality of system model has the highest efficiency score (X¯= 4.91, SD = 0.20), 5) the students learning achievement after learning with the developed learning system was higher statistically significant at .01. 6) the results of students project evaluation revealed that the highest level of appropriateness (X¯= 3.48, SD = 0.48). The highest average score is also obtained when individual project components were evaluated (X¯= 3.54, SD = 0.26), and 7) the students satisfaction gets the highest average score (X¯= 4.68, SD = 0.45). In conclusion, it can be used the synthesized model and the developed learning system for target group properly.
