Abstract: The purpose of the research is to determine the importance of business information process and strategies, information technology, relation between the use of IT and organization management in food enterprises in Northern Thailand. Future plans on use of IT and e-commerce in Food Industry are also examined. Research findings are very encouraging with respect to number of information technology availability in Food Industry, powerful websites and social media which can be accepted as being the beginning stage of e-commerce, and willingness for investment on informatics and e-commerce in near future. Policy Implications of the study can be summarized as follow: The awareness of use of e-commerce and web application are growing in Food Industry. For more use of IT in this industry can also be promoted by providing programs on awareness. And the use of IT is closely link to food services management in food industry and information network practices.
