Self Development of Teachers according to teacher Profession standards at Klongcharoenrat school, Samutprakan primary Educational service area office 2
Abstract:
The objective of this research was to study self-development of teachers according to teacher profession standards at Klongcharoenrat school under the Office of Samutprakan Primary Educational Service Area 2. The population included 23 teachers. Data were collected using 5-point rating scale questionnaire and checklist and statistically analyzed in percentage, mean score, and Standard Deviation.
The findings revealed that self-development of teachers according to teacher profession standards at Klongcharoenrat school in 12 standards was generally found at high level. After item analysis, all of them could be rated by mean score as follows: standard 1-academic practice for professional development was the highest practice, and standard 5-development of instructional medias for effectiveness was the lowest practice.
