Conceptions of art education instruction of art teachers in secondary schools under the jurisdiction of the Department of General Education, educational region five
Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to study and compare the conceptions of art education instruction of art teachers in the secondary schools under the jurisdiction of the Department of General Education, Educational Region Five in the following aspects : meanings of art and art education, factors of art education, and processes of instruction. The samples of this study were 127 art teachers from 127 secondary schools under the jurisdiction of the Department of General Education, Educational Region Five. The researcher constructed one set of questionnaire consisted of check-list, rating scale and opend-ended questions. The data were analyzed by using percentage, means, standard deviation, t-test and f-test. It was found that art teachers had the conceptions at the level of agreement in all aspects of art education instruction.
