Abstract:
The objectives of this research are 1) to study efficiency of team work, followership styles of employees and organizational climates 2) to study the relationships between followership styles of employees and organizational climates 3) to study the relationships between efficiency of team work of employees and organizational climates 4) to predict organizational climate with efficiency of team work and followership styles of employees. The research sample comprised of 376 employees of Thai Airways International Public Co., Ltd. and Worldwide Flight Services Bangkok Air Ground Handling Co., Ltd. Questionnaires were used for data collection. The statistics for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this research indicated that
1. The overall efficiency of team work the overall followership styles and the overall organizational climates were at moderate level.
2. There was a relationship between efficiency of team work and organizational climates with a statistically significant level of .01.
3. There was a relationship between followership styles and organizational climates with a statistically significant level of .01.
4. Followership styles: effective follower, pragmatic followers, passive follower and efficiency of team work: participation and trust accounted for 51.5 percent in variance in organizational
climates. The equation was organization climates = .428 (effective follower) + .199 (participation) + .109 (pragmatic followers) + .199 (trust) + .153 (passive follower).
