The effect of school management according to the philosophy of sufficiency economy on the schools readiness for ASEAN of schools under Pathumthani primary education service area office
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study 1) the level of school management according to the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy, 2) the level of the schools readiness for ASEAN, and 3) the effect of school management according to the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy on the schools readiness for ASEAN of schools under Pathumthani Primary Education Service Area Office. The subjects of this study were multi-stage sampled 353 administrators and teachers of schools under Pathumthani Primary Education Service Area Office. The research instrument was a
questionnaire, of which the reliability was .97. The descriptive statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearsons product moment correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis by enter.
Findings of the research revealed that 1) the level of school management according to the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy as a whole was at the high level, 2) the level of the schools readiness for ASEAN as a whole was at the high level, and 3) the school management according to the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy in terms of knowledge factor, moral and ethics factor, self-immunity and moderation affected on the schools readiness for ASEAN of schools at 72.9 percent of the variance. However, the reasonableness factor was predictable but had no statistical significance.
