Abstract:
This research was 1) to study the knowledge of the learning for early
childhood teachers to entering an Asean community, and 2) to develop learning process
for early childhood teachers to entering an Asean community. The research participants
were twenty early childhood teachers from schools in 3 provinces in the eastern of
Thailand. This study was a qualitative research with intervention. The research consisted
of two phases: 1) the development of learning process consisting of three steps; (1)
construction of the initial process, (2) preliminary field study of the process, and (3)
analysis and revision of the process, and 2) the conclusion of the research results.
The findings were as follows:
1. The knowledge of the learning for early childhood teachers to
entering an Asean community was consisted of 3 domains : 1) knowledge domain ;
contexts of the information about the Asean countries, pedagogy and the instruction to
promoting the skills of children. 2) attitude domain; good attitude of the difference
culture and 3) professional skill; communication skills and life skills.
2. The learning process for early childhood teachers to entering an Asean
Community integrated the Asean community concepts and the adult learning .
This learning process consisted of four steps: 1) developing the awareness 2) promoting
the studying 3) developing the learning group and 4) reflection of their learning
