Abstract:
This objectives of this study were to: 1) examine the general administration of the schools under Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, and 2) compare the general administration of the stated schools, classified by work experience. The population of this study were 1,387 teachers of primary schools under Loei Primary Education Service Area Office 2. The sample consisted of 301 teachers selected by simple random sampling using Krejcie and Morgans table. The research tool was a five-point rating scale questionnaire concerning levels of general management of school with a confidence level at 0.99. The statistical analysis comprised percentage, mean, standard deviation, and T-test. The results indicated that in the general administration, overall the teachers were satisfied with the performance of general management at a high level. In order of high level to low level, the results were as follows; general administration and documentation sections (4.07), student affairs (3.99), buildings and maintenance, and personnel profile and records sections (3.95), respectively. The comparison of general management of schools indicated that there was significant difference at .05 level in the overall performance management. Considering each aspect, there was significant difference at .05 in seven sections including personnel profile records, student affairs, relationship between schools and community, public relation, education committee, information technology and information technology and planning sections, whereas no significant difference was found on the general administration, documentation and buildings and facilities, respectively
