Abstract:
The objective of this independent study was to study of Mae Fah Luang university students needs for a community mall. The sampling of this study was students that studying in bachelors degree in Mae Fah Luang university 386 people.
The result indicated that 72.5% of samples were female and 27.5% were male. 44% homelands of samples were in northern Thailand, 30.8% of samples studied in school of management and 30.3% of samples were freshman. 57.5% of samples income between 5001 and 10,000 baht. Samples went to mall once or twice a month equal to 54.1%, shopping on Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m.-6 p.m. equal to 33.2%, 51.0% were influenced by friend to go to the mall.
The result also indicated that physical evidence factors, 99.2% of all samples need to go a community mall and 89.1% need the community mall to locate near Mae Fah Luang University. Samples need the community mall decoration modern style equal to 74.6%. Product factors, most of samples spent on food & beverage, clothes and supermarket respectively, average cost is 432.03, 881.29, 567.98 baht respectively.
