Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to create and assess the efficiency of a competency-based learning video on the subject of Electrical Wiring and Equipment Installation as a short term course; Bangkok Vocational Training School Case Study. To compare the academic achievement between the group learning by a video on the subject of and the Electrical Wiring with PVC tube on the concrete wall and a group learning by a tradition instruction. The sample group of this research was 20 students, registering in Electrical Wiring and Equipment Installation subject, selected by purposive sampling technique. The sample group was separated into 2 groups; 10 people for each group, an experimental group learning by a video and a control group learning by traditional instruction. The research tools consisted of a video on the subject of Electrical Wiring with PVC tube on the concrete wall, Practice Tests, Test Paper, Job card, Job Performance Evolution Form, Basic Statistics, Efficiency Statistics E1/E2 Practice level at 80/80/75 and T-Test for independent samples. It was found that a video on the subject of Electrical Wiring and Equipment Installation reached the efficiency of 87.69/93.08/94.50 and the academic achievement of the experimental group was higher than the control group at a statistical significant level of .05. In conclusion, a competency-based learning video on the subject of Electrical Wiring and Equipment Installation had a good quality
