The kindergarten teachetrs' desired characteristic in ASEAN community trend in regard to the perception of administrators and teachers in The East School of Education Service Area
Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the kindergarten teachers desired
characteristic in ASEAN community trend in regard to the perception of administrators and
teachers on knowledge, teaching and practice. The sample group of this study consisted of 8
administrators and 52 teachers in the east school of education service area.
The research instruments was desirable characteristics of administers and kindergarten
teachers questionnaire. The data was analyzed by using frequency distribution, percentage,
means and standard deviation.
The research findings were as follows:
1. Concerning knowledge: as perceived by administrators indicated that teachers should
understanding in ASEAN sign and understanding ASEAN community.
As perceived by teachers indicated that teachers should understanding in ASEAN sign,
group of the ASEAN and understanding ASEAN community.
2. Concerning teaching: as perceived by administrators indicated that the east school of
education service area organize teaching activities for the ASEAN community and teachers should
produce instructional media and materials on ASEAN community.
As perceived by teachers indicated that the east school of education service area
organize teaching activities and teachers should be ready to use the computer or information
technology about the ASEAN community.
3. Concerning practice: as perceived by administrators indicated that teachers should be
aware of resources to knowledge in the ASEAN community, finding of early childhood education
curriculum in the ASEAN community and listening or watching about the ASEAN community.
As perceived by teachers indicated that teachers should be enthusiastic to learn about
the ASEAN community and teachers should be aware of resources to knowledge in the ASEAN
community.
