Abstract:
This research aimed to develop and evaluate efficiency of The Development of WebQuest for Enhancing Student's Competency on Object-Oriented Programing with JAVA Technology Subject. The scope of content is in the Control Flow topic, to compare student's achievement and student's competency before and after learning by the developed WebQuest, and to study the student's satisfaction after using the developed WebQuest. The developed WebQuest's model applied step of the Competency base learning (CBL) together with normal WebQuest elelments. The target competence is "Developed program computer according the flow chart" , sub-competence of Software developer occupational standard in the National diploma qualification of vocational competence (NQVC. Dip. Cert.) defined by Thailand professional qualification institute: TPQI (Public organization). The samples consisted of 30 High vocational certificate students, Information technology department, Loei technical college. Who rolled in Object-oriented programing by JAVA technology course, selected by 2 steps simple random sampling.
The research results shown that 1) The efficiency of the developed WebQuest was 83.89/82.27 2) The student's achievement after tearning by the developed WebQuest was statically significantly higher than before using it at .01, 3) The student's target competence after learning by the developed WebQuest enhanced more than before using it at 26.39%, and 4) The student's satisfction to the developed WebQuest was at a high level. (X=4.32, S.D.=0.67) In conclusion we could efficiency apply this WebQuest to the target groups.
