Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to investigate the quality of information resource service and users satisfaction with and expectation of the information resource service.The subjects were 392 users of the Library Resources and Education Media Center, the University of Phayao.The subjects were chosen through simple random sampling technique.The instrument used for collecting data was a questionnaire constructed by the researcher. Percentages, arithmetic mean and standard deviation were adopted to analyze the data. The findings show that the quality of the information resources service was at a high level.The overall mean scores of the four areas concerning services of the center were also at a high level: quality of information resource service (x̄ = 4.10), quality of the center service (x̄ = 3.91), satisfaction with information resource service (x̄ = 3.88) and expectation of information resource service (x̄ = 3.77)
