Abstract: งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการและปัจจัยในการคัดเลือกนักแสดงนำนักแสดงประกอบ และคณะผู้แสดงละครเวทีประเภทมิวสิคัลที่สร้างจากนวนิยาย ละครเวทีประเภทมิวสิคัลที่สร้างจากบทละครที่แต่งขึ้นใหม่ และละครเวทีประเภทมิวสิคัลที่สร้างจากละครบรอดเวย์ โดยใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content Analysis) จากข้อมูลที่ได้จากการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก (In-depth Interview) บุคคลที่เกี่ยวข้องในการคัดเลือกนักแสดงละครเวทีประเภทมิวสิคัล อันได้แก่ ผู้ควบคุมการผลิต ผู้เขียนบท ผู้กำกับการแสดง ผู้ช่วยผู้กำกับการแสดง ทีมคัดเลือกนักแสดง นักแสดงนำ นักแสดงประกอบ และคณะผู้แสดงจากบริษัทผู้ผลิตละครเวทีประเภทมิวสิคัล ทั้งหมด 10 บริษัท จำนวน 21 คน ประกอบกับเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้อง ผลวิจัยมีดังต่อไปนี้ :-1.กระบวนการในการคัดเลือกนักแสดงนำและนักแสดงประกอบละครเวทีประเภทมิวสิคัลที่สร้างจากนวนิยาย สร้างจาก บทละครที่แต่งขึ้นใหม่ และสร้างจากละครบรอดเวย์ ได้แก่ 1.1การวางแผนงาน ซึ่งจะทำให้ทราบถึงรายละเอียดต่างๆ เช่น จุดมุ่งหมาย รูปแบบ แนวทางการนำเสนอของละคร รวมถึงการวางตัวนักแสดง ลักษณะของตัวละคร 1.2 การสรรหานักแสดง โดยการคัดสรรนักแสดงที่มีคุณสมบัติใกล้เคียงกับความต้องการของเรื่องตามที่ได้วางแผนงานไว้ 1.3 การคัดเลือกนักแสดง จะต้องผ่านการคัดเลือก 3 ขั้นตอน คือ ความสามารถด้านการร้องเพลง ความสามารถด้านการแสดง และความสามารถด้านนาฏลีลา 2.ปัจจัยในการคัดเลือกนักแสดงนำและนักแสดงประกอบในละครเวทีประเภทมิวสิคัลที่สร้างจากนวนิยาย สร้างจากบทละครที่แต่งขึ้นใหม่และสร้างจากละครบรอดเวย์ มีปัจจัยที่เข้ามามีบทบาท 2 ประการหลัก ดังนี้ 2.1 คุณลักษณะโดยรวมของนักแสดง ได้แก่ 2.1.1บุคลิกลักษณะของนักแสดง 2.1.2 ความสามารถด้านการร้องเพลง และ/หรือ ด้านนาฏลีลา 2.1.3 ความสามารถด้านการแสดง 2.1.4 ความเป็นที่นิยมในสังคม 2.1.5 มีเวลาในการซ้อม 2.2 คุณลักษณะส่วนตัวของนักแสดง ได้แก่ 2.2.1 อุปนิสัย คือ มีความรับผิดชอบ มีวินัย มีความตั้งใจ ทุ่มเท อดทน เสียสละ และไม่ยึดติดกับตัวเอง 2.2.2 ทัศนคติที่ดีในการทำงานและทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่นได้ 3. กระบวนการและปัจจัยในการคัดเลือกคณะผู้แสดงในละครเวทีประเภทมิวสิคัลที่สร้างจากนวนิยาย สร้างจากบทละครที่แต่งขึ้นใหม่ และสร้างจากละครบรอดเวย์นั้น มีกระบวนการที่เป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกับการคัดเลือกนักแสดงนำและนักแสดงประกอบ เพียงแต่ในส่วนของกระบวนการนั้นไม่ได้เน้นไปที่ขั้นตอนการสรรหาคณะผู้แสดง และในขณะเดียวกันในส่วนของปัจจัยในการคัดเลือกนั้น ความเป็นที่นิยมในสังคมของคณะผู้แสดงก็ไม่ได้มีผลต่อการคัดเลือก นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่า คณะผู้แสดงส่วนใหญ่มีความสามารถครบทุกด้าน ทั้งด้านการร้องเพลง ด้านการแสดง และด้านนาฏลีลา เนื่องจากคณะผู้แสดงจะต้องมีหลายบทบาทในการแสดง รวมทั้งจะต้องหมุนเวียนเป็นหลายตัวละครอีกด้วย

Abstract: This research is determine to study about processes and factors for casting stage musicals actors especially on leading actors, supporting actors and ensembles. As a researcher, I classified my samples into 3 groups which are ; 1) a stage musicals that was created from novel ; 2) a stage musicals which was a new creation for each occasion; 3) a stage musicals which was created from a Broadway play script by using content analysis from in-depth interview, those who are related to casting for stage musicals such as Production Manager, Screenwriter, Director, Assistant Director, Casting Team, actors and ensembles from Stage Musical Producer Company for 10 companies, 18 persons to support the involved documents. The Result is as follows: 1. The procedure of casting leading roles, supporting roles for stage musicals which was created from novel , a new creation for each occasion, created from a Broadway play script are 1.1 To chart out a main direction and a presentation style of the show , presentation guideline including casting and characteristics of characters 1.2 Actor recruitment by recruiting actors who is qualified and fit in with the specified qualifications.1.3 to test the candidates' abilities of singing, acting and dance. 2. Factors used to cast leading roles and supporting roles for stage musicals which was created from novel , a new creation for each occasion, created from a Broadway play script are two great roles as follows 2.1 Overall Characteristics of actors that are 2.1.1 actors’ personality 2.1.2 Singing and/or dancing ability 2.1.3 Acting ability 2.1.4 Social Popularity 2.1.5 Practice Time Availability 2.2 Person Characteristic of actors that are 2.2.1 habit, actors must be responsible, disciplined, determined, exertive, patient, devoted and must not be self-absorbed. 2.2.2 Good attitude to collaborate with other people. 3. About the ensembles, the process of casting is quite similar to leading actors and supporting actors for stage musicals which were created from novel, a new creation for each occasion, created from a Broadway play script but for procedures, they do not underscore actor recruitment. Meanwhile, factors used to cast do not depend on social popularity of actor team. However, in each performance, the ensembles have to play in many roles so they must have abilities to sing, act and dance.
