Abstract:
The objectives of this independent study were: 1) to study personal financial management of Chumphon Provincial Police 2) to study the relationship between personal factors with personal financial management 3) to study the relationship between financial performance factors with personal financial management. In this study, the population comprised the police officers of general staff division, investigation and police station in Chumphon Provincial Police, totaled 1,347 persons and the sample included 310 persons. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Hypothesis testing with Chi-Square. Statistically significance level of 0.05.
The results of financial performance factors in three items were knowledge of financial management, discipline of finance and financial ethics awareness. Overall, found that the opinions were in the high level. Considering them; were found that the opinions of the financial ethics awareness and knowledge of financial management were in the high level, and the opinion of discipline of finance was in the moderate level, respectively.
The results of testing hypothesis show that:
1) The relationship between personal factors such as marriage status, number of family members, monthly total income, monthly unearned income, class rank, official age and lifestyle about alcohol drinking behavior with the asset management of personal financial management. Personal factors were gender, age, educational level, marriage status, number of family members, monthly membership support for family, monthly total income, monthly unearned income, official age, lifestyle about behavior of drinking and smoking related to the consumer loan management of personal financial management. Personal factors were gender, educational level, marriage status, number of family members, monthly of membership support for family, monthly total income, monthly unearned income, class rank, official age, lifestyle about behavior of drinking, smoking and everyday life related to the saving

and investment of personal financial management. Personal factors were gender, educational level, marriage status, number of family members, official age, lifestyle about behavior of drinking and smoking related to the risk management and life insurance of personal financial management. Personal factors were marriage status, number of family members, monthly of membership support for family, monthly unearned income, official age, lifestyle about behavior of drinking and smoking related to the retire planning of personal financial management. Personal factors were age, educational level, marriage status, monthly total income, class rank, official age, lifestyle about smoking behavior related to the personal income tax planning of personal financial management.
2) The relationship between financial performance factors such as knowledge of financial management , discipline of finance and Financial ethics awareness with the asset management, consumer loan management, saving and investment, risk management and life insurance, retire planning and Personal income tax planning of personal financial management.
