Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to identify and compare the behavior on internet using of secondary education students from school in the Bothong Municipality, Bothong District, Chonburi Province according to gender and class level. The sample consisted of 300 secondary students from school in the Bothong Municipality, Bothong District, Chonburi Province. The tool used in this research was a questionnaire on internet utilization behavior with a reliability of .90. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test.
The results of the research were as follow:
1. Behavior on internet using of secondary education students from schools in the Bothong Municipality, Bothong District, Chonburi Province was found to be at a moderate level. For the individual aspects, behavior on internet using internet for education was at a high level, while behavior on internet using for entertainment and communication were at a moderate level, and behavior on internet using for morality was at a low level.
2. Behavior on internet using of secondary education students from schools in the Bothong Municipality, Bothong District, Chonburi Province categorized by gender did not differ between male and female students both on the overall view and on individual aspects.
3. Behavior on internet using of secondary education students from schools in the Bothong Municipality, Bothong District, Chonburi Province categorized by class level between lower secondary level students and higher secondary level students differed on the overall view and aspects of communication and morality with a statistical significance of .01, while other aspects were not different.
