Abstract:
This research was carried out to investigate the relationships of the personal factors, the marketing factors of tourism, and the external environment factors of tourism that had influences on tourism behavior of Americans and Europeans in the Southern Andaman Coast. The questionnaire was used as the tool for collecting data from 400 American and European tourists visiting the Southern Andaman Coast in Krabi, Phang Nga, Phuket, Ranong and Trang during October to December B.E.2556. The statistics used for data analysis comprised Frequency, Percentage, Arithmetic Mean, Standard Deviation Independent Samples t-test, One-way ANOVA, Chi-Square Test, Correlation and Multiple Regression at 0.05 level of significance.
The results of hypothesis testing showed that the tourists personal factors on gender, age, marital status, level of education, occupation, annual income and domicile; together with the marketing factors of tourism in the aspects of product, promotion, people, process and physical evidence and the external environment factors of tourism in the aspects of technology, seasons and natural environment had relationships with the tourism behavior of Americans and Europeans in the Southern Andaman Coast. The output of regression analysis showed that the marketing factors of tourism in the aspects of place, people and process; as well as the external environment factors of tourism in the aspects of socio - cultural, technological, and natural environment had influences on the tourism behavior of Americans and Europeans in the Southern Andaman Coast.
