The research aimed to study and compare the leadership of the school administrators as perceived by the teachers and school administrators under the Office of Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area 2 as classified by gender, ranks, educational levels and experience.
The samples used in the research comprised 140 school administrators and 310 teachers. The samples were obtained by using Krejcie and Morgan’s table and a multistage random sampling. Statistics used in the research were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test, and Scheffe’s method.
The research findings were as follows.
1. The leadership of the school administrators in the opinion of the school administrators and the teachers in the study was at a high level. The aspect having a maximum value was making a decision (4.44) and the aspect having a minimum vale was the availability of information (4.38).
2. In comparing the opinions of the teachers and the school administrators in the study as classified by gender, ranks, educational levels, and experience, it was found that there was no different opinion. The school administrators and the teachers who had different ranks had different opinions with a statistical significance of .05.
