Abstract:
Knowledge that underpins on the role played by social servicescape towards
influencing the level of customer satisfaction at a university conferencing service
context is studied by situated within an environmental psychology discipline. Three
operationalized dimensions of social servicescape were investigated, namely the
university social image at the individual mind-level, the dynamic social atmosphere at
the group and the service quality mechanisms at the university level. A quantitativebased
survey method was employed. Multivariate statistical analysis indicated the
significant roles played by the mechanisms of social servicescape on the level of
customer satisfaction.
