The relationship between the school administrators' leadership styles and the teachers' job satisfaction under Bangkok Primary Educational Service Area Office
Abstract:
This research investigated 1) the level of school administrators leadership styles under Bangkok Primary Educational Service Area Office, /2) the level of teachers job satisfaction under Bangkok Primary Educational Service Area Office, and 3) the relationship between the school administrators leadership styles and the teachers job satisfaction under Bangkok Primary Educational Service Area Office.
The sample in this study was composed of 88 administrators and 302 teachers in schools under Bangkok Primary Educational Service Area Office in academic year 2014 selected using stratified random sampling method. The research instrument used for collecting data was Likert five-point scale questionnaires. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearsons product moment correlation coefficient to determine the relationship.
The research revealed that 1) the level of school administrators leadership styles as a whole and on all aspects was at the high level, 2) the level of teachers job satisfaction as a whole and on all aspects was at the high level, and 3) the relationship between the school administrators leadership styles and the teachers job satisfaction under Bangkok Primary Educational Service Area Office as a whole revealed high relationship at .01 level of significance.
