Abstract:
The study was carried out to look into the personal factors and the level of perception and participation of the employees of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi toward the quality assurance, to examine the media exposure and the level of the perception and participation of the employees, and to investigate the relationship between the level of perception and participation with the level of acceptance of the employees of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi toward the educational quality assurance.
The sample used for the study comprised 300 employees of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi. The data were gathered with the application of questionnaires, and the analysis of the data were performed using Mean, Percentage, Standard Deviation, Independent Sample t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Pearsons product moment correlation.
The results of study revealed that the majority of the respondents were female between 31-40 years old, earned more than Bachelors degree, had 11-15 years of work experience, were government officials in faculties/colleges, worked on academic relations, received the quality assurance information from the Office of Quality Assurance through the public relations communication channel via the website, and followed the quality assurance information once a month.
The results of hypothesis testing indicated that different gender, work position, and work department demonstrated different levels in the perception, participation and acceptance. The study on the relationship between the perception and acceptance, as well as the relationship between the participation and acceptance showed the positive relationship. The correlation coefficient was at 0.604 and 0.564 respectively with 0.05 level of significance.
