Abstract:
The purposes of this study were (1) to study the level of job burnout of teachers in
private schools under The Office of Nonthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. (2) to
compare the teachers burnout according to differences on gender, experience, educational level.
Sample of this study consisted of 341 teachers in private schools under The Office of Nonthaburi
Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 which they were selected by proportional sampling.
Research tools used for this study were 7 rating scale of Maslach to measure teachers'
burnout on emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and lack of personal accomplishment.
Statistics were mean, standard deviation, Z test, one way ANOVA and LSD.
The study found that:
1) The level of job burnout of teachers in private schools under The Office of
Nonthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 overall were in low level which
consequently as the first one were lack of personal accomplishment mean 2.04, secondly
emotional exhaustion mean 1.72, and lastly depersonalization mean 1.52 respectively.
2) The comparisons of teachers burnout; the male-female and the difference of job
experiences were not different while teachers who have different educational level were
statistically significant difference at .05 level.
