Abstract:
The game-based computer assisted instruction in base numeral system of digital basic subject was developed by using visual-basic.net (VB.NET). The highlight of this research was the tool allows the instructor to track and evaluation doing exercises of group learner. It was reinforced of the knowledge for the students to have fun by game and created computer assisted instruction. To compare achievement learning about principles of the base numeral system, number base converters and calculating base numeral system between the learners and the learners who studied with game-based computer assisted instruction. To assess learners satisfaction on the learning with came-based computer assisted instruction, the samples were 53 the second year of vocation certificate students from department of electronics technician in Suratthani Technical College who registered in digital basic subject. The classrooms were cluster sampling randomly. Research instrument included game-based computer assisted instruction, achievement test and questionnaire about satisfaction. The percentage, mean and standard deviation were employed for statistical analysis.
The result of the research found that the game-based computer assisted instruction in base numeral system of digital basic subject had efficacy 82.40/81.31. The students learned the lesson game-based have more achievement than students attending traditional statistical significance at the .01 level. The game lesson was assessed by experimental group which satisfaction was mean 4.55, at high level. The conclusion were the game-based computer assisted instruction in base numeral system of digital basic subject. Could be used for teaching.
