Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study the relationship among internal and external factors, production strategies and export performance of agricultural cooperatives and to study the influence of internal and external factors on production strategies of agricultural cooperatives and the influence of production strategies on export performance of agricultural cooperatives.
Samples used in this research were staff and cooperative committee (Ban Lat Agricultural Cooperative, Tha Yang Agricultural Cooperative and Lamae Agricultural Cooperative), officers from Cooperatives Promotion Department and other involved administers of Agricultural Cooperative under MOU with Japan in Phetchaburi and Chumphon provinces. 142 questionnaires were used in data collection and frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regressions were employed for data analysis.
The results of hypothesis testing indicated that the internal factors had relationships with production strategies, the external factors had relationships with production strategies and the production strategies had relationships with agricultural cooperative export performance. Moreover, the internal factors had an influence on production strategies, the external factors in terms of technology and MOU had an influence on production strategies and the production strategies had an influence on its agricultural cooperative export performance.
