Abstract:
This research is to study and compare states and problems in using the internet of
Sripatum undergraduate students classified by gender and year of study. The researcher
used descriptive research by using questionnaire to collect data. The sample was used in
this research were 400 Sripatum undergraduate 1-4 year students. The instrument was
used 5 Likert scale for 41 items in a questionnaire with reliable. Percentage, mean, t-teat,
standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance and comparison different pairs with LSD
(Least Significant Difference) were used to analyze the data.
The research results found that:
1. The States of Sripatum undergraduate students in using the internet, the total was
moderate from benefits of the internet for educational purposes, the internet threats,
internet efficiency, the internet place and the speed of the Internet, respectively.
2. The problems of Sripatum undergraduate students in using the internet, the total
was moderate from skills in using computer and internet, the universitys administration,
the personal finance, and computer equipment and networking, respectively.
3. The comparison result of Sripatum undergraduate students states classified by
genders the total and each level of study were different in their opinions with statistically
significant at the 0.05 level. State of Students in different year was different with
statistically significant at the 0.05 level.
4. The Comparison result of Sripatum undergraduate students in using the internet by
genders showed that the overall, there was no different statistically significant.
Comparison by students year of study, there were different statistically significant at the
0.05 level.
