Abstract:
Currently, the advancement of technology and the new concept of management resulted many organizations faced with high competition affected by the internal factors of organization such as organization structure, staff, and finance. The importance factor comparing to the heart of effective organization is the high competency and enthusiasm staff. Many organizations, therefore, tried to develop the operation strategies and policies to administer the human resources. Compensation management is one of many strategies used by a lot of organizations to stimulate the staff to be enthusiastic in working for the efficiency in reaching the goals of organization. The researcher was interested in studying the impact of compensation management on the enthusiasm in working of the academic staff at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Kalasin Campus. The data were gathered from the samples which were 82 academic staff through the use of questionnaire. Correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis were employed in data analysis.
The results revealed that the academic staff working at Rajamangal University of Technology Isan, Kalasin Campus had the partial and overall opinions on compensation management in the high level including fairness, motivation, sustainability, control, balance, and sufficiency. The academic staff had also the partial and overall opinions on the enthusiasm in working in the high level which were attention, intention, responsibility, tolerance, and further study.
In conclusion, the compensation management had the impact on the enthusiasm in working of the academic staff at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Kalasin Campus. The findings from this study could be used in panning and developing the policies of appropriate compensation management to build up the motivation, satisfaction, and enthusiasm in working effectively. This will lead the organization to reach their committed objectives. The findings could be used as a guide for planning to develop the human resources management to increase their potential to be ready for both domestic and international competition.
