Relationship between perception of organization change and job stress of employees : a case study of employees of Vanachai Panel Industries Company Limited
Abstract:
The purposes of this study are 1) to study the level of job stress of employees, 2) to study
the level of perception of an organization change, 3) to compare the employees job stress, 4) and
to study the relationship between perception of an organization change and employees job stress.
The research sample group consisted of 154 employees of Vanachai Panel Industries Company
Limited. Questionnaires were used for the data collection. The statistics employed for data
analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one way ANOVA, and Pearsons
Products Moment Correlation Coefficient.
The results of this research presented that 1) the employees had moderate level of
perception of an organizational change, 2) the employees had low level of job stress, 3) the
employees with different sex, age, marital status, educational level, salary and working
experience in organization had no different job stress, 4) the perception of an organization change
had negative relationship with job stress at a statistically significant level of .05.
