Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to design and construction the Bio-Diesel module from reuse oil as well as study the Bio-Diesel manufacturing process. The Bio-Diesel product was tested under the quality standard of Bio-Diesel and Diesel and use with the diesel engine.
The research methodology were as follow; preliminary study of Bio-Diesel module design, Bio-Diesel standard, Bio-Diesel from reused oil machine prototype construction and water rinsing machine. The capacity from this developed machine was more than 75 litters per at mast 5 hours. After that Bio-Diesel machine was test-run and the chemical properties of Bio-Diesel product was compared with the standard. The test step was to test with 4-storke Diesel engine; single cylinder type, Then the quality of Bio-Diesel module from reuse oil was evaluated by experts.
The mean and standard deviation of quality evaluation from experts were 4.36 and 0.49 respectively. The experts opinion were according to the overall quality of the Bio-Diesel module from reuse oil. The chemical properties analysis of Bio-Diesel product were as follows; specific qravity, flash point, distillation and carbon residue. All properties were met the standard even though the acid-base (pH) and viscosity were slightly out of standard. Accordingly, The Bio-Diesel module from reuse oil products the quality Bio-Diesel that can smoothly run with 4-stroke Diesel engine : single cylinder type for 1,000 hours without any damages. At the conclusion, the developed Bio-Diesel to the Diesel engine in Agriculture.
