Abstract:
This study aims 1) to study the opinion of the people towards the service quality of
Nongbua Municipality Waterworks Authority in Nongbua Sub-district, Muang District,
Kanchanaburi Province, and 2) to comparatively examine the opinion of the studied people
categorized by sex, age, marital status, educational level, occupation, and salary. The population
as well as the samples of this study is consisted of 150 service receivers of Nongbua Municipality
Waterworks Authority in March 2013. The data collecting tool is questionnaire and the statistics
used for data analysis are percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, and compare mean.
The findings show that the overview of the peoples opinion towards the service
quality of Nongbua Municipality Waterworks Authority is rated moderate. Considering each
individual aspect, it is found that punctuality comes first followed by sufficiency of service,
progression of service, continuance of service, and equality of service, respectively.
The comparison of the opinion of the people categorized by personal qualifications
shows that the differences of sex, age, marital status, educational level, occupation, and salary
result in difference of opinion towards the service quality of Nongbua Municipality Waterworks
Authority.
