The Conditions and Needs of Using Information Technology for Education at Schools of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 36 (Chiang Rai-Phayao), A Case Study in Phayao Province
Abstract:
The objective of this study was to study the conditions and needs of using information technology for education at schools of secondary educational service area office 36 (Chiang Rai-Phayao), a case study in Phayao Provincethe. The population of this study consisted of education institution administrators and teachers which accounted for 270 personnel. The instruments in this study were the questionnaires. Then the data were statistically analyzed using percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results of this study were found that the most of respondents were the teachers who had using of computer for general documentation. Besides, the schools promoted the training to personnel about computer and computer software usage which divided 3 aspects, namely, administration aspect, academic aspect and service aspect. The study results showed that the average of conditions of using information technology for education were arranged from the most to the least as follows, service aspect, academic aspect and administration aspect. Whereas the average of needs of using information technology for education were arranged from the most to the least as follows, service aspect, academic aspect and administration aspect, respectively.
