Abstract: การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาสภาพและความต้องการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศทางการศึกษาในโรงเรียน สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา เขต 36 (เชียงราย-พะเยา) กรณีศึกษาจังหวัดพะเยา กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาและครูผู้สอน จำนวน 270 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามส่วนใหญ่เป็นครูผู้สอน มีการใช้คอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อจัดทำเอกสารทั่วไป รวมทั้งโรงเรียนมีการส่งเสริมให้บุคลากรเข้ารับการฝึกอบรมเกี่ยวกับการใช้เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์และโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ โดยในการศึกษาได้แยกศึกษาทั้งหมด 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านบริหาร ด้านวิชาการ และด้านบริการ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สภาพการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศทางการศึกษา ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด ได้แก่ ด้านบริการรองลงมา ด้านวิชาการ และด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำสุด คือ ด้านบริหาร ส่วนความต้องการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศทางการศึกษา ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด ได้แก่ ด้านบริการ รองลงมาด้านวิชาการ และด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำสุด คือ ด้านบริหาร"

Abstract: The objective of this study was to study the conditions and needs of using information technology for education at schools of secondary educational service area office 36 (Chiang Rai-Phayao), a case study in Phayao Provincethe. The population of this study consisted of education institution administrators and teachers which accounted for 270 personnel. The instruments in this study were the questionnaires. Then the data were statistically analyzed using percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results of this study were found that the most of respondents were the teachers who had using of computer for general documentation. Besides, the schools promoted the training to personnel about computer and computer software usage which divided 3 aspects, namely, administration aspect, academic aspect and service aspect. The study results showed that the average of conditions of using information technology for education were arranged from the most to the least as follows, service aspect, academic aspect and administration aspect. Whereas the average of needs of using information technology for education were arranged from the most to the least as follows, service aspect, academic aspect and administration aspect, respectively.
