Abstract:
This study aims to compare the restaurant business owners satisfaction on Thai labors and Immigrant labors in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province. The data was collected by use questionnaire survey to 85 restaurant business owners. Therere 3 style restaurants, of which 51
were small restaurant size, 26 were middle restaurant size and 8 were large restaurant size. This content was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and ranking. The study revealed that all 3 sizes of the restaurant business owners were quite satisfied with Thai labors in terms of characteristics and personal habits including communication, allegiance, working full time and creativity and they were less satisfied with the other personal habits which were contended tasks, enthusiasm, diligent, laboriousness and respectfulness. For Production cost factors of Thai labors, the owners were quite satisfied with wage and were less satisfied with adequate labor. For the Immigrant labors, it was found that all 3 sizes of the restaurant business owners were much satisfied with the aspects of characteristics and personal habits which were contended
tasks, diligent, enthusiasm, work of full efficiency, working as according command and less satisfied with the other personal habits including communication, allegiance, creativity, protect interests of owner and loyalty. In terms of production cost factors, the restaurant business owners
were much satisfied with Adequate labor and less satisfied with labors welfare.
