Abstract:
The objective of this master project was to develop a Problem Consulting System
for Computer Hardware using Fuzzy Logic Method on the Internet. The System was
developed to run under Microsoft Windows operating system using Active Server Page
language as a software tool and Microsoft Access as a database.
This program is divided into 3 parts: a user part, a computer expert part, and an
administrative part. There were 5 performance tests using a blackbox testing technique. The
first test was a functional requirement test, which resulted in average scores of 4.43, 4.48,
and 4.40, for users, experts, and system administrators, respectively. The second test was a
functional test, which resulted in average scores of 4.47, 4.50, and 4.46, for users, experts,
and system administrators, respectively. The third test was a usability test, which resulted in
average scores of 4.09, 4.10, and 4.30, for users, experts, and system administrators,
respectively. The fourth test was a performance test, which resulted in average scores of
4.32, 4.37, and 4.47, for users, experts, and system administrators, respectively. The fifth
test was a security test, which resulted in average scores of 4.40 and 4.53 for experts and
system administrators, respectively. The overall scores were 4.32, 436, and 4.44, for
users, experts, and system administrators. According to the appraisals from many users,
experts, and system administrators, it was found that this program has achieved a good
satisfactory rating. It can be used to assist in fixing problems related to computer usage.
