Abstract: งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาสภาพนิเวศน์วิทยาและการประมงในอ่างเก็บน้ำเขื่อนสิริกิติ์ซึ่งทำการศึกษาในฤดูน้ำน้อยเดือนเมษายนและในฤดูน้ำมากเดือนกันยายน ปี 2528 และสำรวจเกี่ยวกับสภาวะการประมงในบริเวณอ่างเก็บน้ำ ผลการศึกษาด้านสมบัติของน้ำในอ่างเก็บน้ำเขื่อนสิริกิติ์ พบว่ามีอุณหภูมิของน้ำอยู่ในข่วงระหว่าง 30.0 – 30.5 ̊C ค่าความโปร่งใสอยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 60 – 146.3 cm. ค่า pH อยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 6.75 – 7.35 ค่า D.O. อยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 7.43 – 7.80 mg/1 ค่า CO2 อยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 3.04 – 4.50 mg/1 ค่า Alkalinity อยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 67.0 – 76.0 mg/1 มีค่า Hardness อยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 66.0 – 67.5 mg/1 ค่า Phosphate-P อยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 0.43 – 0.49 mg/1 ค่า Ammonia-N มีค่าเท่ากับ 0.0125 mg/1 ค่า Nitrite-N อยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 0.010 – 0.0125 mg/1 ค่า Nitrate-N อยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 2.22 – 2.28 mg/1 และค่า Conductivity อยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 200 – 217.5 µS/cm. และสมบัติด้านชีวภาพ พบแพลงตอนพืช 5 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ กลุ่ม Bacillariophyta (Diatom) กลุ่ม Chlorophyta (Green algae) กลุ่ม Cyanophyta (Blue-green algae) กลุ่ม Euglenophyta (Euglenoids) และกลุ่ม Pyrrhophyta (Dinoflagellate) และแพลงตอนสัตว์ 3 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ กลุ่ม Arthropda กลุ่ม Protozoa และกลุ่ม Rotifer โดยมีปริมาณรวมของแพลงตอนในฤดูน้ำน้อยเดือนเมษายนเท่ากับ 533.71 x 103 ตัว/ลูกบาศก์เมตร และในฤดูน้ำมากเดือนกันยายนเท่ากับ 1,512.95 x 103 ตัว/ลูกบาศก์เมตร สัตว์หน้าดินสำรวจพบ 2 ชนิด คือ หอยกะพงน้ำจืด (Limnoperna siamensis) และหนอนแดง (Chironomus sp.) มีปริมาณโดยเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 53 ตัว/ตารางเมตร และพบพันธุ์ไม้น้ำชนิดเดียว คือ ผักตบชวา (Eichornia crassipes) แต่มีปริมาณไม่มากนัก ปลาที่สำรวจพบมีจำนวน 32 ชนิด และกุ้งฝอยอีก 1 ชนิด มีผลิตผล (Standing crop) ในฤดูน้ำน้อย เดือนเมษายน เท่ากับ 12.83 กิโลกรัม/ไร่ และในฤดูน้ำมาก เดือนกันยายน เท่ากับ 13.89 กิโลกรัม/ไร่ จำแนกประเภทของปลาเป็น 4 กลุ่มใหญ่ ๆ คือ กลุ่มปลา Carps, Catfishes, Murrels และMiscellaneous แต่ละกลุ่มมีปริมาณปลาเป็นร้อยละ 12.83-19.93%, 13.15-36.90%, 0-1.85% และ 50.27-65.08% ตามลำดับ และมีอัตราส่วนระหว่างปลากินพืชกับปลากินเนื้อ (F/C Ratio) อยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 1.04 : 1 ถึง 1.41 : 1

Abstract: Ecological and fishery surveys in Sirikit Reservoir were conducted during dry and wet season in 1985. The annual ranges of water quality parameters were : temperature 30.0 – 30.5 ̊C, Secchi disc transparency 60 – 146.3 cm., pH 6.75 – 7.35, D.O. 7.43 – 7.80 mg/1, CO2 3.04 – 4.50 mg/1, Alkalinity 67.0 – 76.0 mg/1, Hardness 66.0 – 67.5 mg/1, Phosphate-P 0.43 – 0.49 mg/1, Ammonia-N 0.0125 mg/1, Nitrite-N 0.010 – 0.0125, Nitrate-N 2.22 – 2.28 mg/1 and Conductivity 200 – 217.5 µS/cm. There were 5 groups of phytoplankton and 3 groups of zooplankton found in this survey. Seasonal changes of the plankton populations showed the density at 533.71 x 103 cell/m3. In dry season and 1,512.95 x 103 cell/m3. In wet season. There were 2 genus of freshwater zoobenthos, which were : Limnoperna siamensis and Chironomus sp. with the average density of 53 No./m2. Aquatic macrophytes, Eichornia crassipes, was observed in this survey. There were 32 species of freshwater fish and one species of prawn found in this survey. The fish standing crop estimated by spot poisoning were 12.83 kg/rai in dry season and 13.89 kg/rai in wet season. There were 4 groups of fish populations which composed of carps at 12.83-19.93%, catfishes 13.15-36.90%, murrels 0-1.85% and miscellaneous species 50.27-65.08% . The forage to carnivorous species (F/C) ratio ranged between 1.04 : 1- 1.41 : 1
