Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ (Survey Research) โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศ 2) เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาทรัพยากรสารสนเทศ ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ ปราจีนบุรี กลุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรที่ใช้ ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ นักศึกษา อาจารย์ บุคลากรสายสนับสนุน มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้า พระนครเหนือ ปราจีนบุรี จำนวน 344 คน และผู้บริหาร จำนวน 5 คนด้วยเทคนิคการเลือกตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สภาพการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศห้องสมุด โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากด้านทรัพยากรห้องสมุดและการให้บริการสารสนเทศ ด้านคุณภาพของอุปกรณ์และระบบเครือข่ายที่ให้บริการ ด้านคุณภาพในการให้บริการ ด้านบุคลากรผู้ให้บริการของห้องสมุด ด้านสภาพแวดล้อมและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกของห้องสมุด กิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ที่ห้องสมุดจัด ด้านบริการต่าง ๆ ของห้องสมุดอยู่ในระดับเหมาะสมมาก สามารถกำหนดแนวทางการพัฒนาทรัพยากรสารสนเทศ ด้านบริการนักศึกษา ด้านการบริการเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศห้องสมุด ด้านสถานที่การให้บริการ ด้านทรัพยากรสารสนเทศ ด้านการเผยแพร่ประชาสัมพันธ์โดยมีสำนักหอสมุดกลางเป็นแหล่งทรัพยากรสารสนเทศที่ตรงกับหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอน สนับสนุนเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศให้เข้าถึงได้อย่างสะดวก รวดเร็ว โดยมีสถานที่สนับสนุนการเรียนการสอน การทำกิจกรรม พร้อมทั้งเป็นศูนย์กลางในการเผยแพร่ประชาสัมพันธ์ข้อมูลข่าวสาร

Abstract: This research is a Survey Research and its objectives are to 1) study the use of information resources, and 2) study the guidelines to develop information resources of King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Prachinburi Province. The subjects of this research were derived by means of purposive sampling, including 344 persons, who are students, teachers, and employees in academic support units in King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Prachinburi Province; and 5 executives. The statistics used in this research are percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results of this research indicated that the overall use of library information resources was in good level; and library resources and information service, quality of equipment and network system, quality of service, library employees, environment and facility in the library, activities held by the library, and other services of the library were in very good level. It was possible to determine the guidelines to develop information resources in terms of student service, library information technology service, service venues, information resources, and public relations. Thereby, the central library was an information resource that was appropriate for the curricular and promoted a quick and convenient access to information technology. The central library supported teaching and learning and activities in the university and was also the center of information and publication.
